Green Recruitment is seeking a Renewable Energy Originator – PPA & Energy Sourcing in Flanders to design and execute sourcing strategies for renewable energy supply. You will structure partnerships and contracts that balance sustainability, cost efficiency, and risk while developing long-term sourcing plans for energy-intensive facilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
• Proven expertise in the energy market, ideally in sourcing, pricing, trading, or energy contracting.
• Experience with PPAs and/or energy supply contracting.
• Solid knowledge of the energy market, including the flexibility mechanisms.
• Commercially driven with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Job description

• As a Renewable Energy Originator, you will design and execute innovative sourcing strategies that secure and optimize the renewable energy supply.
• You will play a key role in enabling the energy transition by structuring partnerships, contracts, and solutions that balance sustainability, cost efficiency, and risk management.
• As a Renewable Energy Originator, you’ll develop sourcing strategies for power-intensive facilities, ensuring long‑term competitiveness and sustainability.
• You’ll source and secure renewable energy supply through negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
• As a Renewable Energy Originator, you’ll leverage asset flexibility by integrating it into sourcing and contracting strategies, and advise clients on energy solutions that help them decarbonize.
• You’ll monitor market trends, regulations, and price developments to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize contract performance.

Your profile

• You hold a Master's degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field, or possess equivalent qualifications through education and experience.
• You have proven expertise in the energy market, ideally in sourcing, pricing, trading, or energy contracting.
• You have experience with PPAs and/or energy supply contracting.
• You have solid knowledge of the energy market, including the flexibility mechanisms.
• You are commercially driven, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
