Job summary
Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice across commercial contracts, consumer and real estate matters within a decentralised European group.
You will draft, review and negotiate agreements, support ESG initiatives, and coordinate with Procurement, Marketing and Operations while maintaining compliance and governance across Belgian sites. Remote work options are available.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Law from a Belgian university.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience as counsel or lawyer.
- Fluent in English; Dutch conversational is a plus.
- Strong expertise in: Commercial contracts, Consumer law, Real estate and construction law.
- Exposure to ESG-related matters is a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide business-oriented legal advice to senior management and operations.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial contracts.
- Advise on agency, distribution, procurement, and service agreements.
- Support construction and real estate projects with related negotiations.
- Monitor and advise on consumer law matters impacting the Belgian business.
- Contribute to ESG projects and sustainable regulations.
- Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Strengthen compliance and internal governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Marketing, Communications and Operations.
