Synthires is seeking a Dutch Translator & Language Expert for a fully remote contract role. You will translate and review content between Dutch and English, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and provide clear feedback to improve translation quality and language understanding for AI systems.

Applicants should be native or near-native Dutch, with strong English, attention to detail, and experience in translation, linguistics, or language quality evaluation. Remote work is supported worldwide.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Dutch with excellent spoken and written skills.
• Strong proficiency in English with ability to provide clear feedback.
• Experience in translation, interpretation, localization, linguistics, language quality evaluation.
• Understanding of Dutch grammar, vocabulary, syntax, pronunciation, idiomatic expressions, and culture.

Responsabilités

• Translate and review content between Dutch and English while preserving meaning, context, tone, and intent.
• Evaluate AI-generated Dutch translations, written content, and language outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, and cultural appropriateness.
• Assess Dutch audio recordings and spoken language for pronunciation, intonation, accent, rhythm, and linguistic authenticity.
• Identify translation errors, grammatical issues, unnatural phrasing, pronunciation problems, and linguistic inconsistencies.
• Apply knowledge of Dutch cultural context, language conventions, regional variations, and commonly used expressions when evaluating content.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback and evaluation justifications in English.
• Review and improve AI-generated multilingual content and translations.
• Contribute linguistic insights to improve AI language understanding, Dutch-language generation, and translation quality.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain linguistic accuracy, consistency, and quality standards.
