Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Local Clinical Study Manager to lead trials across therapeutic areas in a home-based setting. The role supports multi-country delivery from Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands or Sweden, coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure on-time, high-quality study execution.

You will oversee monitoring activities, regulatory compliance, and TMF quality, while driving site activation, training, and data-driven improvements across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related discipline, preferably in life science
• Five or more years of experience in clinical research, including a minimum of 2 years' project management experience
• Good knowledge of ICH GCP and local regulations
• Experience in Oncology or Onco-hematology
• Strong cross-functional team leadership and collaboration
• Excellent spoken and written English (and local language)

Responsibilities

• Provides overall clinical study leadership and oversight for trial delivery, timelines, and outcomes.
• Leads cross-functional clinical teams, setting priorities and ensuring effective communication.
• Plans and oversees daily study monitoring activities and provides status updates.
• Manages vendors and budgets and coordinates resources for study objectives.
• Drives site activation and startup activities with regulatory and in-house teams.
• Monitors study quality and compliance, identifies risks and mitigates issues.
• Reviews and approves monitoring reports and follows up on site-related findings.
• Develops and delivers study-specific training for clinical staff and CRAs.
• Analyzes study metrics to drive improvements across regions.
• Ensures regulatory compliance including submissions and QA readiness.
• Oversees eTMF quality and essential documents.
• Partners with QA on audits and CAPA activities.
• Acts as main contact for monitoring issues and escalations.
• Maintains project plans and reporting for accurate tracking.
