EngiFlex in Belgium seeks a software engineer to join a development team responsible for maintaining and enhancing a 24/7 SCADA environment supporting grid balancing across Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

You will design, build and maintain SCADA applications using SCIL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript, applying SOLID, DRY, KISS and YAGNI in an Agile/SAFe setting. After onboarding, participate in on-call rotation to ensure continuity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in software/SCADA environments.
• Strong software engineering skills including architecture and design patterns.
• Fundamentals of electricity generation and grid transport.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and enhance a 24/7 SCADA environment for grid balancing across Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
• Design, build and maintain SCADA applications for real-time balancing operations.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end development using SCIL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Apply SOLID, DRY, KISS and YAGNI to keep the codebase robust and scalable.
• Work in an Agile/SAFe environment with analysts, operators and stakeholders.
• Participate in an on-call rotation after onboarding to ensure 24/7 availability.
