Hectare seeks a Business Developer to lead its Walloon activities, covering land finding, negotiations, development, and the sale of homes. You will build a regional network with landowners, brokers, and authorities, while guiding projects from concept to completion within a fast-growing team.

You will be fluent in French and Dutch, with a strong commercial mindset and an entrepreneurial drive; travel within Wallonia is required to expand opportunities and market knowledge.

• Affinity with real estate, construction, and project development.
• Experience in real estate, project development, sales, purchasing, or similar commercial roles is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Actively search for new opportunities and land in Wallonia and build a network of landowners, brokers, and local contacts.
• Analyze development possibilities and feasibility of potential projects.
• Negotiate land purchases and guide the purchasing process.
• Draft and follow up purchase and sale agreements and translate into concrete agreements.
• Maintain contacts with municipal administrations and local authorities and build a regional network.
• Contribute to project development from concept to feasible plans.
• Follow permits and development processes with partners.
• Collaborate with architects, design offices, and project leaders to complete projects.
• Involve in the sale of completed homes and contribute ideas on positioning and commercial approach.
• Monitor project progress and report to headquarters; identify opportunities independently and expand Hectare in Wallonia.

>. For this, we are looking for a Business Developer who will be at the helm of our Walloon activities.

This is not a classic commercial role. You will have a broad and entrepreneurial

role where you are involved in the entire project development cycle: from finding and purchasing land, through project development, to the sale of the homes.

As a Business Developer, you are the face of Hectare in Wallonia

and will have the responsibility to further expand our activities in the region.

• You actively search for new opportunities and land in Wallonia and build a network of landowners, brokers, local contacts, and other stakeholders.
• You analyze the development possibilities and feasibility of potential projects.
• You conduct negotiations for the purchase of land and guide the purchasing process.
• You co-responsibly handle the drafting and follow-up of purchase and sale agreements and ensure that the agreements made are correctly translated into concrete agreements.
• You maintain contacts with municipal administrations and other local authorities and build a network within the region.
• You contribute to the development of projects, from the initial concept to a concrete and feasible project.
• You follow up the necessary permit and development processes in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• You work together with architects, design offices, project leaders, and other partners to successfully complete projects.
• You are involved in the sale of the completed homes and contribute ideas about the positioning and commercial approach of projects.
• You monitor the projects and results in your region and report on them to the headquarters.
• You have the space to identify opportunities independently, take initiatives, and further establish Hectare in Wallonia.

• You are independent, proactive, and result-oriented, but also enjoy working with a team.
• You are analytically strong enough to assess the feasibility and profitability of a project.
• You are willing to travel within Wallonia and have the necessary flexibility to further build your network and market knowledge.
