Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Frontend Developer (React) based in Belgium to join a product-focused development team. You will design, develop, and continuously improve modern, high-performance user interfaces while collaborating with web developers and technology leadership.

The role offers autonomy to influence technical decisions, shape architecture, and drive best practices. You will work on delivering features with React, TypeScript, and REST APIs, while maintaining code quality and contributing

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience building web apps, with ≥2 years React.js.
• Strong proficiency in React and building responsive, high-performance UIs.
• Solid understanding of OO and functional programming principles.
• Experience with React hooks, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux or Flux).
• Strong knowledge of CSS methodologies, styling tools, and browser rendering behavior.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6–ES8).
• Experience with Git and collaboration platforms (GitHub/GitLab).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles, tools, and workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and clean code practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with web development team and leadership to deliver features and improvements.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive, responsive frontends using React.
• Contribute to selecting tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
• Architect scalable frontend architectures aligned with product needs.
• Build efficient UIs with React hooks, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Manage application state using Redux, Flux, or similar.
• Develop and optimize CSS for maintainable styling and performance.
• Integrate frontend with backend via REST APIs.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
• Support CI/CD workflows and improve development processes.
• Collaborate to troubleshoot and deliver new features efficiently.
