Job summary

EMW, Inc. is seeking an experienced RDS Engineer in Mons, Belgium, to design, deploy and manage RDS environments and core services. The role requires active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance and extensive Windows Server expertise, including AD, DNS, Exchange, and GPOs.

You will work across multiple teams to ensure security, reliability and performance. Responsibilities include maintaining RDS farms, monitoring performance, automating tasks with PowerShell, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance required.
• Three+ years managing core services of a large enterprise.
• At least three years building, administering and troubleshooting large Windows RDS environments.
• Experience with RDS monitoring and reporting tools (Syskit, RDPManager).
• Extensive knowledge of Windows Server OS lifecycle and DNS management.
• Strong skills in AD, GPOs and VDI technologies.
• Experience with VMware vSphere-based virtual environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and ADFS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute DCIS engineering projects.
• Maintain Core Enterprise Services: AD, DNS, Exchange, web hosting, web auth, and update services.
• Design, deploy, configure, maintain and troubleshoot RDS environments on Windows Server.
• Administer RDSH, RD Gateway, RD Web, and Remote Desktop Licensing.
• Manage and troubleshoot RDS farms, session collections, user sessions and RemoteApp.
• Configure GPOs to control RDS security and user environments.
• Monitor RDS performance, capacity, availability and user experience.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, profiles, applications, printing and performance issues.
• Configure and support FSLogix profile containers and user profile management.
• Manage Windows Server patching, certificates and security configurations.
• Capacity planning and infrastructure optimization for concurrent users.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell and scripting.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, security and service desk teams.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and procedures; participate in change/incident/problem management.
• Support deployment baseline automation and new documentation for NATO/DCIS.
• Travel up to 50 TDY per year; deputies for higher-grade staff; perform other duties as required.
