Job summary

Viveris is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our client's project engineering team in the railway sector. You will define, verify, validate and integrate subsystems (doors, brakes, etc.) to ensure safety and reliability across the system.

You will write system specifications, plan testing, analyse results, and coordinate between customers and internal teams in a multicultural environment. A Master degree in Engineering and fluent English are required, along with first experience in system

Qualifications

Purpose Of The Job

As part of our development in the railway field, we are looking for a systems engineer.

As a System Engineer, you are integrated into our client's project engineering team and are responsible for the definition, verification, validation and integration of subsystems (Doors, Brakes, etc.)

Your Responsibilities

• Write system specifications
• Write system testing and validation plans and verify coverage of specification requirements
• Participate in the review and review of specification and design documents
• Perform test procedures and analyse the results obtained
• Manage the relationship between the customer and internal teams (design, development, validation, integration, deployment, customer service...)

Profil Candidat

Experience, competencies and skills :

• Master degree in Engineering or equivalent, preferably with a specialisation in Rail Transport Systems;
• You have a first experience in a similar position (system design, engineering, project, validation, or operational safety);
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for collaborative work in multicultural environments;
• Autonomous, you have an appetite for complex and safe technical environments;
• You are rigorous, analytical, and have a critical and synthetic mind;
• You are fluent in English.

Technical Skills

• Requirements Management (ideally DOORS)
• Knowledge of ERTMS and CBTC technologies (desired)
• Knowledge of railway standards (EN50155, EN50126, EN50128) will be appreciated.
