Job summary

Médiane Benelux, a leading engineering group in software, electronics and cybersecurity, is seeking a QA Test Engineer to ensure the quality of onboard railway systems before deployment.

You will review hardware and software requirements, craft test scenarios, run regression tests, and collaborate with development teams to root out issues, contributing to reliable, safe and scalable solutions across rail projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, ICT, Electronics or related).
• 2+ years of QA or testing experience.
• Strong background in software development with C++ and Python.
• Experience with Linux (user level).
• Familiar with QA concepts like unit testing, Robot Framework, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of IP network protocols.
• Interest in hardware and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Review hardware and software requirement specifications (functionality, performance, security, scalability, etc.).
• Develop and execute test scenarios to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Identify issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve them.
• Design and perform regression tests following updates or modifications.
• Ensure every customer delivery meets the highest quality standards before deployment.
