Job summary

Médiane Benelux is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated testing across desktop fat-client apps, backend RESTful services, and Angular front-ends. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, coach team members, and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies within a mixed Agile/Scrum environment.

You will join a software team focused on processing railway infrastructure data and building unified graph representations, located in the Brussels

Qualifications

• 5+ years testing fat-client applications.
• 5+ years testing web applications.
• 2 years using TestComplete.
• 2 years with Selenium/Cypress or equivalent tools.
• 2 years using Postman.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test strategies and test plans.
• Develop automated test scripts for desktop Fat Client apps (JavaFX), RESTful services, and Angular UIs.
• Structure, maintain, and version tests in Git repositories.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Perform code reviews and document decisions; coach team in automation best practices.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality hardening activities.
