Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an RF Engineer to join the R&D team in Hasselt, Belgium. You will design, test and optimise RF circuits for robotic sensing applications and collaborate with hardware, embedded software, and systems teams.

You will work on RF measurements, antennas and high-frequency circuitry, using VNAs, spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes, contributing to prototyping, validation and hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related field.
• Experience in RF electronics/ RF engineering.
• Knowledge of RF circuit design, antennas and high-frequency electronics.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with PCB design and hardware development.
• Experience with RF simulation tools is a plus.
• Experience in robotics/sensors/industrial electronics is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

RF Engineer - Robotic Sensor Systems

Location: Hasselt, Belgium

Employment: Full-Time/Permanent

Our client is a technology company developing advanced robotic sensor systems used in demanding industrial environments.

As the team continues to expand its hardware and sensing capabilities, they are looking for an RF Engineer to join their R&D team in Hasselt.

You’ll work on the development, testing and optimisation of RF electronics and sensing technologies, collaborating closely with engineers across hardware, embedded software and systems development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RF circuits and electronic systems for robotic sensing applications
• Perform RF simulation, testing, measurement and troubleshooting
• Develop and optimise antennas, RF front-ends and high-frequency circuitry
• Work with test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analysers and oscilloscopes
• Analyse RF performance and identify opportunities for system optimisation
• Support PCB design and hardware integration
• Contribute to prototyping, validation and troubleshooting of new sensor technologies

Technical Profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, RF Engineering or a related field
• Experience with RF electronics / RF engineering
• Knowledge of RF circuit design, antennas, signal propagation and high-frequency electronics
• Experience with RF measurement and laboratory equipment
• Familiarity with PCB design and electronic hardware development
• Experience with RF simulation tools is a plus
• Experience within robotics, sensors, wireless communication or industrial electronics is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional working proficiency in English
