ScioTeq is seeking an experienced tester for its Avionics R&D software group in Belgium. You will work with development and V&V engineers to design and run test setups, ensuring compliance with safety-focused processes and standards.

You will analyze requirements, craft test strategies, and develop test cases and procedures. Fluency in English, a relevant electronics/ICT degree, and knowledge of C and Python are essential, with opportunities to grow in avionics and cybersecurity training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, ICT, or equivalent by experience.
• Knowledge of C and Python.
• Knowledge of basic measuring equipment (digital voltmeter and oscilloscope).
• Experience with DO 178V, RTOS, or embedded systems is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with development engineers and V&V teammates to create and execute test setups and procedures.
• Follow internal V&V processes for safety-critical avionics software testing.
• Analyze software requirements and develop test strategies and test cases/procedures.
• Participate in reviews ensuring the safety of display products.
• Contribute to test process improvements and automation.
• Take ownership with the project team to deliver within time, budget and quality.
