Locinox is seeking an R&D Prototyper to join our team. You translate design ideas into tangible prototypes, deciding when rapid concepts suffice and when high-quality pre-series models are needed. You’ll report to the R&D Manager and collaborate with development teams to deliver practical solutions.

You bring a technical degree or equivalent, proven prototyping experience, strong machining skills and a disciplined, collaborative mindset. Attention to detail is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with hands-on technical experience.
• Prototyping or product development experience.
• Strong machining knowledge and multiple techniques.
• Good reading of technical drawings.
• Willing to learn and work independently.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Build prototypes across stages, from rapid concept validations to high-quality pre-series prototypes.
• Determine efficient ways to validate ideas by choosing materials, techniques and processes.
• Provide feedback on manufacturability, material selection, tolerances and design quality.
• Combine testing and analysis by conducting mechanical and electromechanical tests and root-cause analysis.
• Work hands-on with workshop equipment including CNC machines and welding installations.
• Ensure prototype quality and precision using measurement methods and tools.
• Use PLM drawings and digital tools to support programming and document builds and test results.
• Build test setups, demonstrators and integrated prototype systems.
• Suggest improvements to processes and tooling for a safer, more efficient workshop.
