Locinox is seeking an R&D Prototyper in Waregem to translate design ideas into tangible solutions. You will create and validate prototypes, supporting designers to rapid, creative, and efficient testing. The role blends technical know-how with craftsmanship.

You will work both independently and with development teams, report to the R&D Manager, and help ensure quality throughout the prototype stages and in collaboration with manufacturing partners.

Responsabilités

• Build prototypes in multiple stages from quick concept validations to high‑end pre‑series tailored to what the project needs to demonstrate.
• Help determine the most efficient way to validate ideas by selecting materials, techniques and processes.
• Provide structured feedback to designers on feasibility, material choice, tolerances and design quality.
• Combine testing and analysis by setting up mechanical and electromechanical tests, analyzing deviations and root causes.
