IMEC in Leuven, Belgium invites a highly experienced R&D Project Leader to drive next-generation cooling solutions for high-performance computing. You will own an multidisciplinary program bridging materials, device concepts, and system integration.

You will guide diverse teams and translate insights into a coherent system concept, with hands-on lab engagement and strong emphasis on collaboration with stakeholders inside and outside imec.

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering, physics, materials science, or a related field.
• Strong technical background in thermal management/cooling technologies or semiconductor processing and integration, or advanced packaging/system integration.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary inputs to form a coherent technical vision.
• Hands-on mindset with willingness to engage in experimental work and to manage stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Guide and coordinate imec expertise teams across process, device, integration, modeling and testing domains.
• Define and implement an integration strategy, consolidating domain insights into a viable system concept.
• Assess integration, reliability and scalability needs and translate them into actionable approaches.
• Contribute to hands-on R&D activities in the lab to enable fast iteration and depth.
• Drive interactions with stakeholders across imec and support IP creation and strategic positioning.
