RapidFit Plus in Haasrode, Belgium, seeks a Quotation Engineer to translate customer needs into competitive quotations. You will work with the Sales team, engage with customers to understand technical requirements, and translate specifications into standardized RapidFit Plus solutions, ensuring accuracy and commercial attractiveness.

You will collaborate with Project Engineers, guarantee transparent proposals, and maintain ERP data while seeking improvements in sales processes.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in technical settings (auto, machine building, tooling, plastics) is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical specifications.
• Clear communication with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Structured, accurate and solution‑oriented work approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Affinity for digitalization and technological innovation.
• Excellent command of English.
• Interest in AI applications is valuable.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with the Sales team to prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and technical solutions for our customers.
• Maintain direct contact with customers to fully understand their needs, technical requirements, and expectations.
• Analyze customer specifications and translate them into the standard solutions offered by RapidFit Plus.
• Interpret customer expectations and align them with internal technical and operational requirements.
• Collect and provide information to ensure accurate cost calculations and competitive quotations.
• Prepare clear, accurate quotations that meet customer needs and requirements.
• Ensure proposed solutions are presented transparently and the scope of services is documented.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers to transfer information during project kickoff and implementation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of sales processes and quotation workflows.
• Maintain customer, project, and quotation data accurately in the ERP system.

As a Quotation Engineer, you will support the commercial process from A to Z. You will work closely with the Sales team and have direct contact with customers to fully understand their technical requirements and expectations. Your ability to analyze information, interpret specifications, and propose suitable solutions will be key to delivering accurate and competitive quotations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Sales team to prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and technical solutions for our customers.
• Maintain direct contact with customers to fully understand their needs, technical requirements, and expectations.
• Analyze customer specifications and translate them into the standard solutions and capabilities offered by RapidFit Plus.
• Accurately interpret customer expectations and align them with internal technical and operational requirements.
• Collect and provide all necessary information to ensure accurate cost calculations and the preparation of competitive quotations.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and customer-focused quotations that meet customer needs and requirements.
• Ensure proposed solutions are presented transparently and that the scope of services is clearly defined and documented.
• Collaborate closely with Project Engineers to guarantee a smooth transfer of information during project kick-off and implementation meetings.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of sales processes, quotation workflows, and customer collaboration.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing and maintenance of customer, project, and quotation data within the ERP system.

Your Profile?

• You hold a degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in a technical environment such as automotive, machine building, tooling, mold manufacturing, plastics processing, or production engineering is a strong asset.
• You possess strong analytical skills and can easily interpret technical specifications.
• You communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• You work in a structured, accurate, and solution-oriented manner.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• You have an affinity for digitalization and technological innovation.
• You have an excellent command of English.
• An interest in AI applications and their potential to improve business processes is considered a valuable asset.
