FlexLink is seeking a versatile electro-mechanical professional to lead quotation and project execution in conveyor systems. You will design layouts, perform calculations and create detailed drawings for suppliers and customers, coordinating with sales and operations teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, site surveys, and timely project delivery within a global context. Proficiency in CAD tools, SAP, and MS Office is required; Dutch and English fluency is essential, French a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in machinery, material handling or conveyor industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French a plus.
• Strong CAD skills with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD; Windchill a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

About the Role

Job Description & Responsibilities

Following a thorough onboarding and training period, you will be responsible for both the quotation phase and the execution of projects. You will report directly to the Supervisor Operations.

Depending on experience and interests, the role can be oriented either towards project execution and delivery or towards application engineering and technical support during the sales process. We are currently looking for professionals for both areas.

Your main activities will be:

• Develop, design and prepare conveyor layouts and material handling solutions.
• Perform technical calculations to support proposed solutions and project execution.
• Prepare detailed drawings for suppliers, subcontractors and customers.
• Create and maintain bills of materials as well as prepare and issue quotations.
• Process and maintain quotation and project data within CRM and SAP systems.
• Support Sales Engineers during the sales process by providing technical expertise and application support.
• Place and follow up purchase orders with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Carry out site surveys and on-site measurements at customer locations.
• Supervise installations and coordinate technicians during project execution.
• Prepare, monitor and update project schedules and timelines.
• Support project administration and back-office activities to ensure smooth project delivery.

What You Need to Be Successful

For this versatile technical position, we are looking for a motivated, eager-to-learn and hands-on professional who meets the following requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the machinery, material handling or conveyor industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French will be considered a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Inventor (3D CAD) and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Windchill will be considered a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of control systems/automation technology will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage.
