Job summary

BelPro Chocolate Masters in Duffel is seeking a motivated recent graduate or junior professional to gain hands-on experience in Quality & Food Safety within a real food-production environment.

You will support the development and day-to-day maintenance of our QMS, HACCP, GMP, hygiene and food-safety activities, including records, traceability, audits and supplier documentation, and help prepare for future IFS Food certification.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or junior professional in a related field.
• Background in Food Technology, Food Science, Bioscience or Quality/ Food Safety preferred.
• Experience in food-industry not required but advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support development and day-to-day maintenance of the QMS.
• Assist with HACCP, GMP, hygiene and food-safety activities.
• Maintain quality records, traceability exercises, internal checks.

Job description

BelPro Chocolate Masters is a growing chocolate manufacturer in Duffel. We are looking for a motivated recent graduate or junior professional who wants to develop practical experience in Quality & Food Safety within a real food-production environment.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and experienced external specialists. You will support the development and day-to-day maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS), HACCP, GMP, hygiene and food-safety activities.

Your activities will include supporting procedures and quality records, following up quality requirements on the production floor, traceability exercises, internal checks, non-conformities and corrective actions, internal audits, supplier and raw-material documentation, and preparation for future IFS Food certification.

We are looking for someone with a background in Food Technology, Food Science, Bioscience, Quality, Food Safety or a related field. Previous food-industry experience is an advantage but is not required.

Good English is important. Dutch is an advantage.
