Overview

Job Purpose
Manage improvement initiatives to resolve customer and internal issues by means of detection, analysis and monitoring in order to optimize the product quality.

Reports to the Plant Quality Leader.

Close cooperation with Production Manager in order to take decisions and to report out.

Responsibilities
  • Activity area 1: Production Support
    Support, guide, coordinate and monitor the team in order to optimize their individual performance and that of the company.
  • Activity Area 2: Continuous Improvement
    Manage customer claims and assembly failures, and manage improvement proposals to eliminate repetitive quality issues.
  • Activity Area 3: Report Out (Backup)
    As backup of the Quality Plant Leader: analysis of customer claims, rejection in production, test bench and SIP, reporting status of customer claims in order to provide the Management the right view on the quality issues.
  • Activity Area 4: Customer Relations
    Consolidate and build customer relationships in order to obtain better long-term results from the customers.
  • Activity Area 5: Quality System
    The maintenance of the Quality System Software ‘CompliantPro’ to have an effective ‘Document Controlling Process’.
  • Activity Area 6: PSS Shop Floor Team Management
    Coördinate following Product Service activities.
  • Activity Area 7: Problem Analysis and Testing (related to PSS)
    Research, analysis and report out of the failure modes on the tested units, and organisation of tests to repair the units by the team.
  • Activity Area 8: Organization Training (related to PSS)
    Practical organisation of periodical theoretical- and practical trainings for customers and/or service employees related to new and/or revised products to maintain the knowledge and to improve the skill level.
  • Activity Area 9: Safety
    Take initiatives to improve safety and stimulate the team to submit and execute improvement actions to solve structural safety incidents.
  • Activity Area 10: Internal and external contacts (related to PSS)
    Approach the correct internal departments to promote the quality and productivity of the team performance in order to reduce the lead time of repairs with the objective to increase the customer satisfaction.
