Pauwels Consulting supports a leading life sciences organization in Antwerp by providing a QC professional to perform and evaluate complex analytical and microbiological tests in a strictly regulated quality control environment.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master of Science, 2+ years in a QC lab, and strong knowledge of HPLC/GC/FTIR/Raman/spectrophotometry, plus LIMS and Empower proficiency and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science.
• 2+ years of experience in a quality control laboratory environment.
• Technical knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, Raman, and spectrophotometry.
• Experience with pharmacopoeial requirements like Ph.Eur., USP, and JP.
• Proficiency in laboratory software systems including LIMS and Empower.
• You're accurate, structured, and able to work independently while remaining flexible within a team.
• Fluent in English.
• Nice to have SAP experience.

Responsabilités

• Execute analytical and microbiological tests according to pharmacopoeia, SOPs, and site standards.
• Conduct sampling and testing of water controls including clean steam and water for injection.
• Document analysis results in LIMS and manage initiation of deviation reports, OOT, or OOS investigations.
• Review laboratory test results and elevate out-of-specification findings to management immediately.
• Maintain laboratory compliance by calibrating instruments and adhering to cGMP and cGLP guidelines.
• Oversee laboratory stock management, supplier documentation, and disposal of expired materials.
• Support peer-to-peer training and ensure all laboratory documentation is updated to current standards.
