MindCapture is seeking a QC Lab Technician to join a pharmaceutical laboratory environment in the Ghent metropolitan area. You will perform analytical testing on a wide range of samples, apply methods with HPLC, GC, IR, UV, and ensure GMP compliance and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, at least 1 year of lab experience, and fluency in Dutch and English. Two-shift work and strong attention to quality are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent scientific qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant lab experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of HPLC and GC.
• GMP procedures experience; Dutch and English fluency; two-shift ability.

Responsabilités

• Perform analytical testing on samples (raw materials, intermediates, APIs, stability, R&D).
• Use analytical techniques: HPLC, GC, GC-MS, IR, UV, PSD, titration.
• Interpret results and ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain GMP-compliant laboratory activities.
• Lead method transfer with stakeholders.
• Take ownership of lab organizational responsibilities.

You will work as a MindCapture consultant for an international pharmaceutical company in the Ghent metropolitan area.

Job Description:

• Perform analytical testing on a wide range of samples, including raw materials, intermediates, APIs, stability samples and R&D samples.
• Use a variety of analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, GC-MS, IR, UV, PSD and titration.
• Interpret analytical results, formulate conclusions and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
• Perform laboratory activities according to GMP procedures and high quality standards.
• Contribute to the introduction and transfer of new analytical methods in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Take ownership of different organisational responsibilities within the laboratory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or an equivalent scientific qualification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional laboratory experience
• Strong practical knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC
• Knowledge of additional techniques such as IR and UV is an asset
• Previous experience working according to GMP procedures
• Able to work independently, accurately and with a strong attention to detail
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
