microTECH Global LTD in Belgium is seeking a QHSE Engineer to join our European Health & Safety team. The role focuses on developing and implementing QHSE policies, conducting risk assessments and driving continuous improvement across the region.
You will lead incident investigations, deliver safety training, monitor KPIs and work with internal teams and authorities. Dutch language is mandatory; English fluency required, and travel may be involved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Health & Safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH/CQA/IMEA) required.
- At least 2 years' HSE/QHSE experience.
- Strong knowledge of Belgium/Netherlands health and safety laws.
- Fluent English; Dutch or French a plus.
- Experience with risk assessments and incident investigations.
Responsabilités
- Develop and implement QHSE policies for the region.
- Conduct risk assessments of facilities and equipment.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training to staff and management.
- Prepare QHSE reports and KPIs; monitor performance.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities.
- Support emergency response planning.
- Travel regionally/internationally as needed.
