Gorilla is a margin intelligence platform for energy retailers, enabling pricing, forecasting, and analytics at scale. We seek a QA Engineer to elevate reliability and performance of our data platform, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and designers to embed testing early in the cycle and ensure smooth releases.

You'll champion quality as the bridge between feature development, user feedback, and product delivery, with hybrid work and expectations of European travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a tester in an Agile development environment.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including test planning, design, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of web-based applications and testing web service APIs.
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebDriverIO, Appium, or JMeter.
• Methodical and curious mindset, with a strong eye for detail.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with QA best practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English.
• Openness to give and receive feedback regularly.

Responsabilités

• Define the testing scope and plan, and execute test cases across features and sprints.
• Report on test coverage and product stability for each sprint/release to support go/no-go decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, review acceptance criteria, and provide feedback early in the process.
• Identify and communicate risks that could impact product quality.
• Act as a bridge between the product, support, and internal user teams by collecting feedback, troubleshooting bugs, and performing root cause analysis.
• Automate acceptance tests using our existing test frameworks.
• Conduct exploratory testing, and run regression and performance tests (automated where possible).
• Promote good QA practices and foster a quality-first mindset within development teams.
• Document issues clearly with reproducible steps and supporting artifacts (logs, screenshots, etc.).
• Perform peer reviews on both manual and automated test cases.
