Gorilla is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure our data platform delivers reliable performance for energy retailers across Europe and beyond. You will embed testing early in development, define test scopes, and automate acceptance tests to support smooth releases.

You'll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers, performing manual and automated testing, exploratory testing, and root-cause analysis. Remote-friendly with hybrid options and travel across Europe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tester in an Agile development environment.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including test planning, design, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of web-based applications and testing web service APIs.
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebDriverIO, Appium, or JMeter.
• An methodical and curious mindset, with a strong eye for detail.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with QA best practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English.

Responsabilités

• Define the testing scope and plan, and execute test cases across features and sprints.
• Report on test coverage and product stability for each sprint/release to support go/no-go decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, review acceptance criteria, and provide feedback early in the process.
• Identify and communicate risks that could impact product quality.
• Act as a bridge between the product, support, and internal user teams by collecting feedback, troubleshooting bugs, and performing root cause analysis.
• Automate acceptance tests using our existing test frameworks.
• Conduct exploratory testing, and run regression and performance tests (automated where possible).
• Promote good QA practices and foster a quality-first mindset within development teams.
• Document issues clearly with reproducible steps and supporting artifacts (logs, screenshots, etc.).
• Perform peer reviews on both manual and automated test cases.
