OneTech Solutions BV in Brussels is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support QA for enterprise applications, combining hands-on automation with functional, integration, and E2E testing in an Agile setting.

You will design automated test suites, prepare data, execute tests, and collaborate with Developers, Product Owners and Analysts to ensure quality and release readiness in a hybrid model (2 days on-site per week).

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Test Automation Engineer / Automation Tester / QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong hands-on test automation and scripting/programming experience.
• Proven experience creating test plans, test designs, test cases and test scenarios.
• Strong experience with functional, integration, regression and E2E testing.
• Practical experience executing tests and managing the complete defect lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of performance/non-functional testing concepts.
• Basic working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases and queries.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Fluent English in professional settings.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, scenarios and test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify test cases for automation and implement maintainable automated test suites.
• Regularly execute and maintain automated regression suites.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression and E2E testing.
• Support and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders when required.
• Perform non-functional testing, including performance/load and security testing.
• Prepare and manage test data across environments and connected systems.
• Analyse test scope and risks to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Execute tests and document results with logs and screenshots.
• Identify, report and track defects through resolution with Dev teams.
• Analyse failed automated tests to distinguish defects from environment issues.
• Provide reporting on test results, quality trends and release readiness.
• Contribute to Go/No-Go and release-readiness decisions within Agile teams.
