What You’ll Be Doing

As Public Affairs Advisor, you will help ensure that Danfoss’ priorities are heard in Brussels at the intersection of business, policy, and the green transition. You will coordinate your day-to-day tasks with the Head of the EU office, and your work will combine policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and communications, supporting Danfoss’ leadership on energy efficiency, electrification, and sustainable industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of Danfoss’ EU public affairs strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, Commission, Parliament and member states, industry associations, NGOs, and other stakeholders in Brussels.
  • Monitor EU policy and regulatory developments and prepare analyses, briefings, and recommendations.
  • Write and promote proactive position papers, consultation responses, and communications materials on key priorities.

  • Brings 3-5 years of experience navigating the Brussels landscape, whether in an EU institution, consultancy, or industry association.
  • Can build and leverage a relevant network to advance our objectives.
  • Is a collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Communicates persuasively in English, both verbally and in writing; fluency in other EU languages, especially Danish, is a significant asset.
