We are looking for a project manager in our office in Ardooie to tackle customer projects. As project manager, you are responsible for the entire project. Together with the solution architect and functional consultant, you are the main point of contact for the customer.

Brighteye was founded in 2003 and created Momentum, a configurable manufacturing operations management software platform. Our distinct project approach and methodology enable us to build long-term projects and relationships, putting the customer at the center of the partnership.

We started with local digital transformation projects and over the years grew to a combination of global roll-outs for international customers and local customers in different industries.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the customer’s production and logistics processes and how they are steered in order to translate these to the software implementation project.
• Project planning and execution: you set up the project plan from start to end and follow up on it. This includes weekly meetings with the project team internally and with the customer externally.
• Resource allocation: you make sure the right people are working on the project at the right time, according to your project plan.
• People management: your team can count on you to coach them. You make sure the team feels well, and that people can work to their strengths.
• Budget management and scope monitoring: you follow up on the budget. You identify, define, and discuss change requests.
• Quality assurance: together with the solution architect, you guarantee the quality of the project.
• Occasionally you prepare and chair steering committees with the customer.

Profile & competences

• You have a Master’s degree in engineering or another relevant area or are similar based on experience.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in a software or IT company. Experience with MES or MOM systems is a bonus.
• You have excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling our customer intimate culture
• You have knowledge of business and production processes and can challenge the team as well as our customers. Additionally, you can handle different types of customers in different industries from small to large businesses.
• You are willing to make occasional short business trips to the customer when necessary.
• Bonus: knowledge of DevOps, MS Projects, certificates in project management
