Expleo, a global engineering and quality partner, seeks a Project Quality Manager to lead quality for multi-site programs in Belgium. You will define PQMP, coordinate quality across engineering, supplier, and production, and drive continuous improvement.

Strong experience with ISO9001 and quality tools, stakeholder leadership, and a track record in managing cross‑functional teams is required. The role offers a competitive package and flexible homeworking.

Responsabilités

• Act as the voice of the customer within the project organization for quality and safety.
• Interface with customer Quality and Safety teams.
• Support CSS and monitor improvement actions.
• Define and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP).
• Ensure application of quality processes across engineering, industrial, supplier, and product introduction activities.
• Contribute to risk assessments (FMEA, CIA, ToT) and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate supplier quality activities (SPL, FAI, production readiness).
• Support DFQ gate reviews and monitor action plans.
• Manage quality alerts, non-conformities, and safety issues.
• Ensure changes are compliant and monitor CoNQ.
• Support customer inspections, audits, and product validation.

Responsibilities

Customer & Stakeholder Quality

• Act as the voice of the customer within the project organization for all quality and safety matters.
• Serve as the interface with customer Quality and Safety teams.
• Support Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSS) and monitor related improvement actions.

Project Quality Management

• Define and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) in line with contractual and internal quality standards.
• Ensure the proper application of quality processes across engineering, industrial, supplier, and product introduction activities.
• Contribute to risk assessments (FMEA, CIA, ToT) and ensure mitigation actions are implemented.

Project Execution & Quality Control

• Support DFQ gate reviews and monitor related action plans.
• Manage quality alerts, non‑conformities, and safety issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance of technical changes (Change Requests) and monitor Cost of Non‑Quality (CoNQ).
• Coordinate supplier quality activities, including Supplier Part List (SPL), FAI, and production readiness.
• Support customer inspections, audits, and product validation activities.

Continuous Improvement

• Facilitate problem‑solving activities (8D, QRQC, REX) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs and project performance indicators, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate the Project Quality community across multiple projects or sites.
• Support resource planning, mentoring, and development of Project Quality Managers.
• Ensure alignment between Quality, Cost, Delivery objectives and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate within a small team.
• An autonomous, self‑starter who will thrive within a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
• Significant experience within a similar role, leading Quality for a site/operation.
• Project Management and maintenance operations experience will be highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic or similar).
• Knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM,.) and quality tools.
• Awareness of Processes and Products/ Services delivered in the project.
• Proven experience in managing teams and individuals, with the ability to positively influence cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
