Job summary

European Defence Agency (EDA) Brussels is seeking a Project Officer Information to support the Research, Technology and Innovation Directorate. You will contribute to RTI projects, manage programme activities, and coordinate with Member States, industry, and partners in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

The role requires seven years of relevant experience, an engineering or ICT background, and strong English communications.

Qualifications

• A university degree in a field relevant to the post (Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Engineering, or related).
• At least seven years of professional experience in defence, admin, tech, or related areas.
• Extensive experience in RT project management across all life-cycle phases.
• Experience in dissemination and exploitation of defence research results.
• Familiarity with European Research and Technology programmes and funding frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Moderate Information Superiority & Cyber Captech groups and related RT community activities.
• Manage RTI programmes and projects including contracting, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Prepare briefing notes and update information on RTI projects; contribute to roadmaps and SRIA.
• Organize RTI experts’ meetings and workshops; represent the Agency at events.
• Contribute to Technology Watch and foresight exercises; collaborate with Member States and industry.
