Job summary

IBA Group is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead projects from requirements to industrialization, including beta unit testing and deployment at factory and customer sites. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with a strong focus on quality and customer relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of PM experience for external customers, a master degree in engineering or industrial sciences, and strong English/French communication;

Qualifications

• Master degree in engineering or industrial sciences or equivalent experience.
• Between 5 and 10 years of project management for external customers.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and MS Project; SAP is an asset.
• Fluent in English and French; analytical and creative mindset.
• PM certification is a real asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships from contract signature to acceptance as single point of contact.
• Lead and coordinate teams of multi-disciplinary experts.
• Drive R&D projects from requirements to industrialization following the development process.
• Plan tasks, milestones, and deliverables; coordinate resources to develop, produce and install equipment.

Mission

As an R&D Project Manager, you will be part of the R&D team and you will manage and deliver R&D projects from Requirements to Industrialization.

You will be in charge of managing the beta unit(s) testing and deployment/installation in factory and on the customer site.

These projects typically range from € 10.000 up to € 20 million in revenue and have a direct impact on business line operations and results.

Respect of Quality, Planning, Customer relationship and Installation success are thus crucial.

As a R&D Project Manager, you are responsible for:

• Managing customer relationships from contract signature to acceptance as single point of contact in the company. You will act as interface between our customers and internal departments such as Global R&D department, Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, etc.
• Leading and coordinating teams of multi-disciplinary experts,
• Leading and delivering the research and development projects from requirements to industrialization following development process,
• Planning tasks, setting milestones, defining deliverables, coordinating internal and external resources to develop, produce and install the equipment until its acceptance,
• Ensuring the projects are delivered within quality, time and budget constrains to a satisfied customer
• Mastering the IBA tools and processes to ensure that the projects are delivered within quality, time and budget constraints to a satisfied customer.

What we value

You have:

• A master degree in engineering or industrial sciences, preferably in electro mechanics, electronics or electricity, or an equivalent experience.
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in project management for external customers in an international and multicultural environment, preferably with an experience in similar size project in electro-mechanical technologies.
• A good knowledge of MS Office and MS Project, Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• An analytical and creative mind.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French
• Project Management certification is a real asset.
