Orise is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to bridge customers and engineering teams in an industrial automation setting. You will lead multiple automation projects, translate customer needs into actionable requirements, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will coordinate scopes, planning, and resources while maintaining quality and clear stakeholder communication. Fluent English and Dutch are preferred; several years of PM experience in automation are expected.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project management within automation/engineering.
• Strong communication; align stakeholders, motivate a team, give feedback.
• Solid technical understanding of automation systems including DCS and E&I.
• Experience with engineering processes, including electrical design and migrations/integrations.
• Background as an engineer who evolved into a PM.

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands‑on Project Manager who thrives in a technical engineering environment and enjoys working closely with customers and project teams. In this role, you act as the bridge between the customer and the engineering team, ensuring that expectations are clearly translated into actionable project deliverables. You will be managing multiple projects in parallel, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to balance scope, timing, and resources effectively.

Your responsibilities

Your profile

• Strong communication skills – you know how to:

• Ability to translate business/customer needs into technical execution
• Several years (5+) of experience in project management within an automation / process / engineering environment
• Solid technical understanding of automation systems, including:
  • DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
  • E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation)
• Experience with engineering processes, including electrical design and system migrations/integrations
• Hands‑on, pragmatic mindset, you take ownership and move things forward
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Background as an engineer who evolved into a project manager
• Experience in industrial automation or process optimization environments
• Fluent in English and Dutch
