We ARE Renewables is seeking a Project Engineer T&I for offshore wind foundation installation projects in the North Sea. You will lead engineering, preparation and execution, developing method statements and coordinating offshore transport and installation on jackets and monopiles.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Marine Eng degree, 4–5 years offshore wind experience, willingness to relocate permanently to Belgium, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Dredging or Marine Engineering.
• 4–5 years’ offshore wind farm installation experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• EU passport holder required.

Responsabilités

• Engineering, preparation and execution of projects.

• Reviewing and checking engineering department outputs.
• Reviewing detailed engineering reports, procedures, manuals and method statements.
• Developing work-packs for the preparatory phase.
• On site, optimize and implement method statements and lead when necessary.

We ARE looking for a Project Engineer T&I for one of our customers active in the offshore wind industry. You will play a key role in the preparation and execution of foundation installation on offshore wind farm projects like jackets and monopiles.

You will collaborate with employees of different nationalities and disciplines and you will be located in the Netherlands or Belgium. You will not be managing a team of project engineers. We are currently looking for an experienced Engineer who can manage (large) offshore transport and installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Being responsible for the engineering, preparation and execution of our projects;
• Developing method statements for our works before we go execute them offshore;
• Reviewing and checking work from the engineering department;
• Reviewing detailed engineering reports, procedures, manuals and method statements;
• Developing work-packs for the preparatory phase of the project;
• When on site, optimizing and implementing the method statements in practice and taking the Lead when necessary;
• Taking care of ad hoc needs of the project and actively respond to questions from the project management;
• Ensuring planning, reporting, budget control and cost monitoring.

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Dredging or Marine Engineering;
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience working both office and offshore based on offshore wind farm installation projects.
• Experience in offshore wind farm installation projects;
• Willingness to work abroad on vessels or projects and in the office;
• Willing to permanently relocate to Belgium;
• Fluent in verbal and written English;
• Excellent team player and a good communicator.
