The Project Engineer - Substations will contribute to electrical infrastructure projects involving high-voltage substations and lines across 380, 220, 150, 70 and 36 kV networks. As Project Engineer, you will act as a key link between the Project Leader and the engineering organisation, taking responsibility for the technical development of projects within a multidisciplinary team. You will ensure the consistency and quality of the design while monitoring the functionality of the project and taking proactive measures to ensure delivery within the agreed schedule and scope. Within the Engineering department, there are several Project Engineering disciplines, each with its own technical specialism: PE Substation The focus of this role is on HV components within substations, utilities and building equipment, as well as the distribution of low-voltage power supplies, including 400 VAC and 110 VDC systems. PE PAC Focuses on protection and automation systems. PE Lines Focuses on high-voltage lines and pylons connecting substations. PE Civil Works Focuses on civil engineering and construction works. The PE Substation function is responsible for integrating these different disciplines, systems and processes within a project. We are therefore looking for someone with:
The Project Engineer - Substation will work within the Infrastructure Projects department. Following the initial training period, the role can be performed remotely up to three days per week. Projects and associated sites are divided into four geographical regions: Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest. The role can therefore be organised effectively between project sites, which will need to be visited during the preparation and construction phases, the company's office in Schaerbeek, and home working. This position covers projects within the Northeast region.
