ENGIBEX in Belgium is seeking a Project Engineer to bridge the gap between the project manager and the engineering firm, driving technical development within a multidisciplinary team and ensuring the design remains consistent with the project scope.

You will monitor progress, ensure timely delivery, and guide design teams through detailed studies to secure quality outcomes and successful project closure.

Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you are the key figure between the project manager and the engineering firm, responsible for the technical development of projects within a multidisciplinary team. You ensure the consistency and quality of the design and monitor the functionality of the project. You take proactive measures to ensure that the project is delivered according to the predetermined schedule and scope.

Key Tasks

• Engage actively in projects from the feasibility study phase to closure, liaising among design teams, technical experts, and Project Leaders.
• Contribute to defining the technical aspects and scope of project designs, conducting various technical studies.
• Guide design teams during detailed studies to ensure quality and scope adherence.
• Communicate and report on project progress effectively.

Profile / Requirements

• A master's degree in engineering, with a specialization in electrical, electrotechnics, electro-mechanical, or energy.
• Knowledge of electricity grids will be a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch, with an (very) good understanding of French and English.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Analytical capacity to solve complex technical challenges.
