Job summary

Alstom in Belgium is seeking a Serial Production Controller to schedule and control daily operations on the production line to meet the Master Production Schedule. This ensures on-time manufacture and serves as a key support function for manufacturing.

You will act as the link between industrial planning, PrSCL/PMM, logistics and manufacturing to guarantee timely execution and a continuous flow of materials, with a focus on MRP, SAP and Excel knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in production scheduling/sequencing or operational Supply Chain with ERP exposure in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable of industrial planning, logistics, inventory management and Material planning.
• Good knowledge of MRP and Production Scheduling tools; proficient in Excel.
• Basic Lean tools understanding; strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Launch, coordinate and control Work Orders according to the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Schedule Work Orders for components/DIS and ensure on-time execution with industrial planning.
• Link planning, PrSCL/PMM, logistics and manufacturing to sustain timely operations.
• Provide weekly feedback to planning to update the MPS; coordinate daily with logistics and quality.
• Maintain material flow, ensure plan orders readiness, and monitor exception messages in MRP.
