Job summary

Evonik Antwerpen NV is seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to join our methionine production facilities in Antwerp. You will contribute to safe, efficient and sustainable operation of our production plants while developing long-term career opportunities within an international chemical company.

In this role you will monitor daily production activities, assist with production planning and process optimization, and participate in investment and development projects.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or a PhD in Chemistry.
• Strong interest in chemical manufacturing, process technology, ESHQ and energy efficiency.
• Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ambition and potential to grow into positions with increased responsibility, including management opportunities within Evonik or at the Antwerp site.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English; knowledge of German is considered an asset.
