Job summary

Evonik Antwerpen NV is seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to join our Antwerp production facilities. You will contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable operations while collaborating with a global team on process optimization and development projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering (or a PhD in Chemistry) and demonstrates a strong interest in energy efficiency, ESHQ, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or a PhD in Chemistry.
• Strong interest in chemical manufacturing, process technology, ESHQ and energy efficiency.
• Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ambition and potential to grow into positions with increased responsibility, including management opportunities within Evonik or at the Antwerp site.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English; knowledge of German is considered an asset.
