Amaris Consulting is looking for an experienced Product Owner Middleware to join our team in Brussels under a permanent contract (CDI). In this role, you will support the Middleware Hosting team by driving agile practices, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring alignment between functional vision and technical requirements in a dynamic international environment.

  • Guide the Middleware Hosting team in adopting agile practices and structuring workflows
  • Support the Team Leader and Service Owner in defining the long-term vision, strategy, and priorities of the team
  • Facilitate communication, implement collaborative tools (notably Jira), and oversee release tracking
  • Lead change management initiatives by building an agile mindset within a historically technical team
  • Promote autonomy, collaboration, and personal development among team members
  • Act as a trusted facilitator: listen, mediate, escalate issues when needed, and foster team trust
  • Contribute to functional activities related to middleware and architecture in alignment with technical layers of the platform
  • Participate in technical meetings to ensure coherence between functional vision and technological constraints
  • Proven experience as Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach, ideally in complex technical environments (middleware, hosting, architecture)
  • Strong ability to introduce agile practices to teams with little prior exposure
  • Background in organizational change management and transformation projects
  • Affinity with technical aspects (middleware, hosting, architecture) combined with strong functional awareness
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: active listening, diplomacy, ability to unite and influence without imposing
  • Autonomous, proactive, able to operate without onboarding or documentation by gathering information from stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with agile management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Availability to participate in Dutch-speaking meetings
