OPTIMUS IT SERVICES is seeking an experienced Agile Product Owner to translate business needs into incremental product work for credit initiatives. You will define objectives, own the backlog and lead refinement, sprint planning and reviews with the Scrum Team.

You'll collaborate across Business, Risk, Legal, Compliance and IT, ensure regulatory considerations are built in, and measure impact with KPIs. Fluent Dutch and French plus English are required; a Master’s degree or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner or in a similar role.
• Proven experience leading a team with a Scrum Master and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of credit products and processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear development requirements.
• Fluent Dutch and French, with good English.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Define objectives and deliverables for credit-related initiatives and translate business needs into effective, step-by-step product increments.
• Lead ideation and refinement processes and prioritize features based on business value, technical constraints, regulatory requirements and user feedback.
• Own, maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog, including features and user stories, and define clear, measurable acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint reviews in collaboration with the Scrum Master and Development Team.
• Manage expectations and alignment across Business, Risk, Legal, Compliance, IT and other stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory and legal requirements are considered from the design phase and maintain appropriate documentation for audit and traceability.
• Measure the impact of initiatives using relevant KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Support user adoption through training, demos, progress communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a change agent within the squad, promoting effective Agile practices and continuous improvement.

Experience Required

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as an Agile Product Owner or in a similar product ownership role.
• Proven experience leading a team in collaboration with a Scrum Master and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of credit products and processes.
• Familiarity with customer journey concepts and the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for development teams.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions and understand and incorporate technical constraints when making product decisions.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize a Product Backlog, define user stories/features and establish acceptance criteria.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work across Business, IT, Risk, Legal and Compliance.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with a structured, quality-oriented and results-driven approach.
• Fluent Dutch and French and sound knowledge of English.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience.
