COSMOTE Global Solutions NV in Belgium is seeking a Product Owner to lead the development of innovative products that meet customer needs and business goals.

You will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, define the product vision, prioritize the backlog, and collaborate with the Scrum Master to deliver maximum value through iterative sprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Proven experience as Product Owner or similar in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize based on business value and customer needs.
• Experience in backlog management and user story creation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• PSPO certification is a plus.

The Product Owner will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring the product vision is clearly communicated and prioritized to deliver maximum value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Gather, prioritize, and clarify product requirements from stakeholders and customers.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next.
• Work closely with development teams during the sprint to clarify requirements and make decisions to remove impediments.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master and stakeholders to ensure product goals are met timely and effectively.
• Measure and analyze product performance, gather feedback, and continuously improve the product.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide insight on product progress and priorities.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 13 years of working experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions based on business value and customer needs.
• Experience in product backlog management and user story creation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Certification such as Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) is a plus.
