Airswift is seeking a Product Expert for a 14-month assignment in Bruxelles. The role focuses on supporting maintenance, replacement and risk-mitigation decisions for critical grid assets, with a strong emphasis on Python analytics and data-driven product outcomes.

You will collaborate across product delivery, asset management, data and IT, translating complex operational challenges into scalable digital solutions and guiding stakeholders through roadmap and backlog activities.

Responsabilités

• Support the Product Owner in shaping and delivering the product roadmap in line with customer needs and company objectives.
• Take end-to-end ownership of selected product topics, from problem framing through validation and implementation follow-up.
• Analyse and improve maintenance, replacement and risk-mitigation processes for scalable product capabilities.
• Define and validate generation rules and decision logic used to create asset needs.
• Use Python to analyse datasets, reproduce results and challenge business logic.
• Identify data-quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Facilitate workshops with asset managers and stakeholders to structure complex topics.
• Bridge asset management, product, data and IT to align priorities and outcomes.
• Prepare recommendations, product docs and stakeholder communications.
• Support backlog refinement and delivery readiness for implementation.
• Support testing, release prep, deployment and user adoption.

Job Title: Product Expert Duration: 14 Months Schedule: Monday - Friday Sponsorship Provided: No Location: Bruxelles

This opportunity sits within the energy sector and focuses on supporting a product that improves how maintenance, replacement and risk-mitigation needs are identified, assessed and managed for critical grid assets. The role offers high visibility, strong autonomy and the chance to work across product delivery, asset management, data and IT to drive more transparent and data-driven decision-making. It will suit candidates with strong Python capability, product thinking and experience translating complex operational challenges into scalable digital outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Owner in shaping and delivering the product roadmap in line with customer needs and company objectives.
• Take end-to-end ownership of selected product topics, from problem framing and stakeholder alignment through to validation and implementation follow-up.
• Analyse, challenge and improve maintenance, replacement and risk-mitigation processes and translate them into scalable product capabilities.
• Define, document, test and validate the generation rules and decision logic used to create asset needs.
• Use Python to analyse datasets, reproduce results, validate hypotheses, investigate anomalies and challenge business logic.
• Identify data-quality issues, assess business impact and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Facilitate workshops with asset managers, domain experts and other stakeholders to bring structure to complex topics.
• Act as a bridge between asset management, product, data and IT teams to ensure shared understanding of priorities and outcomes.
• Prepare clear recommendations, product documentation, decision material and stakeholder communications.
• Support backlog preparation, refinement and prioritisation to ensure delivery items are clear, valuable and ready for implementation.
• Support testing, release preparation, deployment, user adoption and continuous improvement.
• Monitor product quality and business outcomes and recommend improvements based on data, feedback and observed results.
• Provide continuity across product activities and support stakeholder alignment, backlog decisions, delivery follow-up and product ceremonies when required.

Required Experience:

• Relevant experience in product delivery, digital transformation, process optimisation, data-driven decision support or comparable roles.
• Experience working at the intersection of operational business, technology and data.
• Exposure to industrial, infrastructure, utility or other asset-intensive environments.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on Python expertise for analysing complex datasets and investigating business questions.
• Ability to translate ambiguous operational challenges into clear options, recommendations and actionable product outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously with a pragmatic, curious and ownership-driven approach.
• Capability to combine strategic perspective with hands-on analysis of processes, rules, data and implementation details.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Ability to contribute to backlog prioritisation, roadmap planning, product ceremonies and delivery decisions.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience in asset management, maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, enterprise asset management or asset decision-support solutions.
• Experience with Power BI or modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
