Talencia Consulting is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Domain Leader to join a major ERP transformation project in Belgium. You will own the Supply Chain scope within the ERP program, ensuring the future solution supports operational processes and business requirements.

You will combine hands-on supply chain and ERP experience with strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills, coordinating Key Users and driving data, process and change activities across the end-to-end supply chain.

Domain Leader – Supply Chain | ERP Transformation

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Process Domain Leader to join a major ERP transformation project.

The candidate will act as the business owner of the Supply Chain scope within the ERP project. The role is not focused on ERP configuration, but on ensuring that the future solution correctly supports the company's operational processes and business requirements.

The successful candidate will combine strong practical Supply Chain / Procurement expertise with ERP implementation experience, analytical capabilities and the ability to coordinate and challenge business stakeholders and Key Users.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Process Ownership

• Take ownership of the Supply Chain functional scope within the ERP transformation.
• Analyse and document existing As-Is processes.
• Define, challenge and validate the To-Be processes.
• Identify process improvements, simplifications and opportunities to eliminate unnecessary processes.
• Ensure that the future ERP solution is aligned with operational requirements.
• Define and validate business requirements, business rules and functional specifications.
• Identify and assess functional gaps and contribute to decisions regarding their resolution.
• Ensure consistency across end-to-end Supply Chain processes and interactions with other domains.

Procurement & Supply Chain Expertise

• Bring solid hands-on experience in Procurement / Supply Chain processes.
• Understand supplier master data creation and maintenance processes.
• Understand supplier contracts and supplier categorisation, including ABC categorisation.
• Understand the complete purchasing cycle, including:
• Purchase orders.
• Order management.
• Delivery and receipt management.
• Understand warehouse receiving processes, including:
• Goods receipts.
• Quality controls.
• Discrepancy management.
• Be able to understand and execute core purchasing processes in an ERP environment, including checking and placing an order.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain flows.

Article & Master Data

• Bring experience with Article / Product Master Data.
• Understand article creation procedures.
• Understand the product lifecycle.
• Understand product structures and hierarchies.
• Understand product attributes and related data requirements.
• Contribute to the definition of data rules and data quality requirements.
• Support data cleansing and preparation activities.
• Validate migration mappings and migrated data.
• Ensure that master data requirements are correctly reflected in the future ERP solution.

ERP Transformation

• Participate actively in the ERP implementation as the Supply Chain business representative.
• Work with Key Users to validate business requirements and determine how these requirements should be addressed in the new system.
• Participate in workshops and solution design reviews.
• Review proposed solutions and ensure they remain aligned with business needs.
• Challenge proposed solutions where appropriate and help identify pragmatic solutions to functional gaps.
• Work closely with the ERP implementation team and other business domains.
• Support functional governance and business decision-making.

Testing & Business Acceptance

• Define and validate the Supply Chain business test approach.
• Ensure that Key Users prepare the required test scenarios.
• Validate test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Follow up on functional anomalies and their resolution.Ensure that the business requirements are correctly reflected in the tested solution.
• Provide business validation/sign-off for the Supply Chain scope.

Change & Business Adoption

• Support and coach Key Users throughout the implementation.
• Help ensure that business deliverables are completed on time and at the expected quality level.
• Contribute to training materials, operational procedures and user documentation.
• Accompany users during the transition to the new ERP solution.
• Support the business during go-live and Hypercare.

Required Experience & Skills

Must Have

• Significant professional experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Purchasing.
• Strong understanding of operational Supply Chain processes.
• Experience with Procurement and supplier management processes.
• Experience with Article / Product Master Data.
• Experience with supplier and product data management.
• Good understanding of purchasing and receiving processes.
• Good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain flows.
• Experience participating in at least one ERP implementation or transformation project.
• Experience as a Business Project Manager, Process Owner, Domain Leader, Super Key User or equivalent business role is an advantage.
• Ability to analyse existing processes and define target processes.
• Ability to challenge requirements and proposed solutions constructively.
• Experience working with Key Users and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the domain.
• French and English.
