Jonckheere Subcontracting NV in Belgium is seeking a Process Engineer to analyze and improve production processes with a focus on technical support. Description du poste

As a Process Engineer at JONCKHEERE subcontracting, you analyse production processes and performance in order to implement improvements together with team leaders.

A deeper look at your job responsibilities:

• You will focus mainly on technical support for the production process, with knowledge of or interest in offline programming of robots and/or CNC machines.
• You report directly to the engineering manager and will be part of a strong team of product engineers and team leaders.
• You are an important link within the company and work in close collaboration with various departments such as Maintenance, Quality Assurance (QA), Procurement and Project Management.
• You will be the first point of contact for process and technical issues.
• In addition, you will work with the team to systematically reduce operational losses and help setters to configure machines as efficiently as possible.
• You will also provide training for setters and operators to promote continuous improvement of knowledge within the department.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Your technical aptitude is sufficient for an understanding of the various production processes
• You take a hands‑on approach
• Your analytical skills make you a good problem solver
• You have the people skills to do your job well and to collaborate with management, team leaders, operators, project and quality engineers, maintenance staff, suppliers, etc.
• You are communicative and can be very persuasive
• Knowledge of quality or process improvement methods (Lean, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, OEE, 5S…) is an asset
• You dare to take responsibility and make decisions
• You speak fluent Dutch, are competent in English and have a working knowledge of French

During your first weeks, you will receive training on all our processes and the various work locations.

You will be given opportunities to develop through extensive internal and external training.

Our company has three branches and works with clients from multiple countries. Your language skills will be put to good use. English is essential and French is preferred, but we will also support you in improving your skills.
