Job summary

Initialize in Brussels is seeking a Principle Architect to lead enterprise architecture and AI-driven transformation across banking and financial services. You will shape cloud strategy, modernize platforms, and govern transformation roadmaps.

The role requires deep TOGAF knowledge, experience with CRM and core banking platforms, and strong leadership in AI governance and innovative initiatives. Hybrid work in Brussels is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking and Financial Services.
• Understanding of enterprise business platforms and end-to-end operating models.
• Proven track record in digital transformation and platform modernization.
• Knowledge of regulations, risk management, governance and compliance.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture strategies and transformation roadmaps.
• Strong skills in business capability modeling and EA governance.
• Deep knowledge of TOGAF and modern architecture methodologies.
• Cloud expertise across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with CRM, Core Banking, Payments, Lending, Cards, Wealth Management and Finance platforms.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, ML, NLP, AI governance and automation.

Skills/experience

• Experience within Banking and Financial Services
• Strong understanding of enterprise business platforms and end-to-end financial services operating models
• Experience leading digital transformation, platform modernization, and technology strategy initiatives
• Knowledge of industry regulations, risk management, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements
• Proven experience developing enterprise architecture strategies and transformation roadmaps
• Strong expertise in business capability modeling, operating model transformation, and enterprise architecture governance
• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks including TOGAF and modern architecture methodologies
• Cloud expertise ideally across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
