Aerospacelab is seeking a Quality Control/Metrology specialist in Belgium to execute inspection activities on mechanical parts and materials. You will read GD&T drawings, perform dimensional measurements with standard equipment, and ensure traceable documentation.

You will work within a cross-functional team to identify non-conformances and drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in quality control, strong attention to detail, and hands-on measurement experience.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in quality control or inspection and metrology of mechanical/machined parts
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings (GD&T) and tolerances
Hands-on experience with measurement and metrology equipment
Rigor and thoroughness with strong attention to detail
Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills in a diverse team environment

Responsabilités

Execute defined quality control activities on incoming mechanical parts and materials
Read and interpret drawings and GD&T to define inspection points
Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM
Document inspection results with traceable records
Identify non-conformances and support root-cause investigations
Establish NCRs and coordinate with supply chain and engineering
Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes and checklists
