Aerospacelab, Inc. seeks an Incoming Inspection & Metrology Technician to inspect mechanical parts, read GD&T drawings, and document results on site in Louvain-la-Neuve. You will operate calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs, ensuring traceable records and conformity with specs.

The role emphasizes rigorous quality control, problem-solving with root-cause analysis, and collaboration with engineering and supply chain. Experience in aerospace or space hardware is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control or metrology of mechanical parts.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings with GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with measurement equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Execute defined quality control activities on incoming mechanical parts, subassemblies, and raw materials.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings to define inspection points.
• Perform dimensional and metrology inspections using standard and precision equipment.
• Follow inspection processes and maintain traceable records.
• Identify non-conforming items and support root cause investigations.
• Establish NCRs and coordinate with supply chain and engineering.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and refine inspection checklists.
