Dark Light - data & BI consultancy is seeking a Power BI Developer to lead the design, build and optimization of high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into effective reporting solutions, and communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences.
The role emphasizes Power BI reporting with a focus on data storytelling, KPIs, and actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on Power BI background.
- Experience with DAX and reporting patterns.
- Solid SQL skills for querying, validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Ability to translate business needs into reporting specifications.

- Design and develop production-grade Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Create user-friendly report experiences with meaningful interactions.
- Optimize report performance through design and structure.
- Gather and refine reporting requirements with stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into actionable reporting specs.
- Present insights to non-technical stakeholders and run demos.
- Maintain semantic models and develop DAX measures.
- Validate data with SQL and investigate issues.
- Work within enterprise BI governance and naming conventions.
