Job summary

ACENSI Belgium is seeking a Senior Power BI Coach to help the organization adopt Power BI across departments. The role blends coaching, training and hands-on development with governance support.

You will train end-users, build reusable BI components, and foster a community of coaches while aligning with IT and Data Office on governance and standards.

ACENSI Belgium is looking for a Senior Power BI Coach for one of its client in the banking sector.

Context

The Power BI Coach will help users across the organisation make effective use of Power BI. The role combines coaching, training, community engagement and hands‑on development, with a strong focus on user autonomy and long‑term adoption. You will also work with IT, business teams and the Data Office to develop practical guidance and support Power BI governance

Key responsibilities

• Drive Power BI adoption: Help teams integrate Power BI into their daily work and become confident, independent users.
• Coach different user groups: Provide practical guidance adapted to users’ needs, experience and level of maturity.
• Deliver training: Organise demonstrations, webinars, workshops and training sessions for end-users and future coaches.
• Create learning materials: Develop and regularly update clear, accessible training content and practical examples.
• Build a community of coaches and ambassadors: Support employees who can share knowledge and encourage adoption within their teams.
• Engage with users: Gather feedback, understand recurring challenges and share best practices through the Power BI community.
• Introduce new features: Help users understand and apply new Power BI capabilities.
• Provide targeted support: Address specific questions and business challenges while ensuring knowledge transfer.
• Develop Power BI solutions: Create and improve reports, dashboards, semantic models and reusable components when required. Use these solutions to demonstrate best practices and meet business needs.
• Support governance: Contribute to guidance on roles and responsibilities, usage standards, lifecycle management and security.

• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to audiences with different levels of experience.
• Ability to deliver practical training and create useful learning materials.
• Comfortable working with business users, IT teams and data specialists.
• A practical approach to problem‑solving, knowledge sharing and user adoption.
• Understanding of Power BI governance and sustainable platform use.

Languages

• Proficient in French or Dutch, with at least basic knowledge of the other language.
• Working knowledge of English, including the ability to understand, discuss and write technical documentation.
