Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is hiring a Postdoctoral Scientist – AI/ML to advance AI/ML methods for drug discovery. You will work across foundation models, deep generative models, and representation learning for biological sequences, with lab-in-the-loop workflows and experimental validation.

You will join the DDSAI organization and collaborate with computational biology and experimental teams across Beerse, Spain, Cambridge, and Spring House locations.

Qualifications

• PhD completed in a quantitative field within the last 3 years or soon.
• Strong AI/ML expertise with publication record in top AI/ML venues.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch; experience with foundation or generative models is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conceive, develop, and validate AI/ML approaches for drug discovery.
• Design foundation and deep generative models for biological sequences.
• Establish lab-in-the-loop workflows integrating AI with wet-lab validation.
• Analyze large biological datasets to generate insights and hypotheses.
• Collaborate across computational biology, ML, and experimental teams.
• Communicate results clearly to diverse stakeholders; maintain docs and code.
